FOOD INSPECTION DASHBOARD
Food safety is crucial for a growing city with a vibrant F&B scene. Dubai Municipality staff are busy inspecting outlets across the city. In order to make their job easier, we created a Food Inspection Dashboard that displays inspections performed, inspection frequency, and results. The dashboard also displays inspection status – whether complete or pending – and type.
Scope
Build a Food Inspection Dashboard to assist Dubai Municipality staff in planning and execution.
Data used
Dubai Municipality data related to food inspections.
Analysis
Organising the collected data and adding an intuitive visual layer on top gives us a dashboard with descriptive and diagnostic capabilities.
Outcomes
A dashboard that visually displays when and where inspections happen in Dubai, and also highlights inspection type and status. It can break results down by area and community, highlighting inspection frequency and results to help municipal staff plan future inspections.
