Our mission is to enable the innovation and insights that spark the growth of a data economy and create happiness.
Today, we are taking a comprehensive approach to ensure Dubai benefits from data by creating a citywide data strategy, establishing the rules of participation, empowering data professionals, fuelling the city’s smart transformation, and leading a new approach in data management for cities.
We are building a city-wide model of Dubai’s data & statisitcs, identifying which organizations hold it, and how it can be used to build a smarter, more prosperous city. Our Dubai Data & Statistics Lab engages with real-world problems solvable through data science to create economic and social benefits. We are also championing a vibrant data community comprising data champions, organizational representatives, and data experts to spark collaboration.
Government entities, businesses, and individuals can access a wealth of information and free datasets on Dubai Pulse, the digital backbone of Dubai. Dubai Pulse facilitates the exchange of data to enable a safe, seamless, efficient, and personalized experience.
Eventually, Dubai Data & Statistics wants to be an impartial market broker for citywide data, creating an open and well-regulated market where data’s true worth is realised and used to spark new opportunities.
